Terms & Conditions

Ākonga participation in HaBYT classes, productions and activities is conditional on the following:

Fees

​

Primary classes (Players, Troupe and Ensemble) are $160 per term. 

Associates classes are $180 per term.

Senior Company classes are $250 per term, with an additional cost for the Senior Retreat.

Payments are due by the second week of term. The fee is a flat fee, regardless of term length. Ākonga who join after the halfway point in the term will be charged half the normal fee for that term.

Free Trial

New students may participate in up to two free trial classes before choosing to commit to attending regularly. Ākonga who choose to continue with classes must pay for the term or half term in full.

Termly Commitment

No refunds will be issued should a student decide not to continue with classes partway through the term. HaBYT prefers ākonga to commit to at least a whole term at a time. Senior students involved in an end of year production are asked to commit for the duration of that production.
 

Hawkes Bay Youth Theatre is fee-paying to cover operational costs, with limited funded places available for students in need of financial assistance.
